Ever since I worked as a teaching assistant in graduate school, I've enjoyed teaching people about trees. After working at tree services for nearly a decade, I find that most tree workers lack access to clear, digestible information. My coworkers want to become certified arborists or tree workers, but family priorities and learning styles prevent them from sitting down with a study guide. My goal is to close the access gap by creating short videos that supplement the arborist certification study guide.

Nearly every city and county has their own tree protection requirements, which dictate which trees are considered "protected", how tree removals are mitigated, and how enforcement occurs (e.g. bonds).
Coming soon: Specific local information will be added for jurisdictions in the Contra Costa & Alameda Counties.
